Winterstar looked at sorrowstar, for some reason she felt pity for the she-cat. Her eyes drifted to Brightstar as she left, that meant the special gathering was over but she did not want it to be. "Brightstar, wait before you leave I want to talk to you alone" her voice was quite but enough for the about to leave leader to hear. She looked at the other then back at Brightstar. This was a tough time for the clans and she needed to tell Brightstar all that she knew, this thing it was from hr past and she knew some of it like what it was called. The only thing that she could not believe is how it was carried here, was it true she was infected but was immune to it? If so Winterstar wanted brightstar to do something that no other cat would be asked to do, hopefully she would do it despite the fact starclan may get angry.

Featherstar ,who was still silent, looked at Winterstar and understood she wanted to be alone with Brightstar. He nodded his thanks and padded off towards his own territory. His eyes turned back to see them again thought, what was in store for the clans and would he ever get his voice back. Turning his head back towards his territory he continued on his eyes looking up at silver pelt.
ooc//Sorry short post but he was leaving anyway.

[glow=red,2,300]Sorrowstar hissed at brightstar ignoring her words, she may hate starclan but she did not hate her life. "Screw starclan they can leave us to die all I care, from now on my clan no longer looks towards starclan" she announced and turned away towards her territory it was her choice after all being her clan so small. The darkclan leader snorted and lowered her head as he walked on her pads hitting Darclan territory. //Starclan has no control over me anymore, or my clan// She thought as she headed for camp to take a nap or just sleep to get her energy.[/glow]

As she walked off towards MountainClan territory, Brightstar stoppped and her ear flicked to let the other leader know that she had heard her. She turned back towards Winterstar and lept back up onto the nearest tree to the MountainClan leader. Brightstar awkwardky licked her chest fur, she had hoped that she wouldn't be alone with Winterstar. NightClan and MountainClan weren't quite on friendly terms, to say the least. The brown and black she-cat wasn't sure if there would be tension between the leaders as well. "Err, yes? Winterstar?" she mewed, trying not to sound nervous.

Winterstar lowered her head in shame, but she had to do this for the good of the forest. /Look out starclan I may come sooner then you think/ she thought then stepped forward to brightstar. “I think I may be the cause of this outbreak Brightstar” her voice was low and she had proof she was the cause. If Skyfeather or Hawkpaw were to examine her they would find the parasite the other cats had as well as small eggs that the worms offspring are in. When the hatch Winterstar would feel sick for a few days but when ever she vomited the small baby worm would get itself into other living animals even birds so if a cat were to eat a bird that was infected the cat would be the new host.
“I am somehow immune to the worm that kills the cat. I think I may be the one spreading it, and if I get anymore cats sick I want you to do something.” Winterstar looked at Brightstar her eyes filled with pain. She wanted what was best for the forest not what was best for her. Winterstar knew this day would come, but she hoped Brightstar was willing to do it.

Brightstar sat on the branch unmoving. If she weren't too stunned too speak, she would've meowed as loud as she could that she couldn't do it, that Winterstar was being mouse-brained. If she weren't too stunned even move, her tail would've lashed voilently back and forth, her claws might've dug deep into the bark. But she just sat on the branch, showing no emotion. Finally she made a small mew. "You....caused all this? You....want me...to.....," she stopped. Brightstar was now confused. If Winterstar was spreading the parasite's eggs, would it really be right to do what Brightstar thought she was asking? Although their Clans were on the verge of a war, Winterstar and Brightstar had been on good terms before they had even become leaders. Would the NightClan leader really be able to kill her old friend, and what would MountainClan think? They would probably take it as a murder and use it as an excuse to attack her Clan. Brightstar decided to try and talk Winterstar out of it. She cleared her throat and tried again. "If I do......" she whispered the next word, "kill you, what would MountainClan think? NightClan is weak, and it might not be able to stand an attack. Would you really want that for us?"

"Stop it with the what if's you know as well as I both clans are too weak for a fight. We could kill each other off. And........." Winterstar stopped, how did Brightstar know what she was going to say? Who said that she would ask Brightstar to kill her? She jumped onto the branch next to Brightstar, maybe this would knock some sense into her. She put her paw on Brightstar's head, "Who said I was going to ask you to kill me" she hissed a bit angry at the other leader. "If our clans went into a fight I would personally slaughter the ones who wanted to think you murdered me.
"Why do the cats I ask of this always assume that I am asking them to kill me. You think I want to die, die and leave my clan with no deputy to succeed me? You must be mouse-brained Brightstar" She yowled a laugh through her teeth and jumped down form the branch. Winterstar looked at Brightstar with longing, "Starclan has asked me to deliver a message they sent to me to every leader, but I believe your the only one besides me who can help." she started wondering if Brightstar would agree.

Brightstar stared at Winterstar with narrowed eyes, silently chiding herself for being such a stupid fur ball. She should've seen that both Clans were weak, and Winterstar didn't have a deputy, like she said. Even so, she didn't like the way the other leader had put her paw on her head. "I know that our Clans are too weak, but I had to assume the worst and that you knew that and chose to ask me anyway. After all, you have been known to be a bit impulsive," Brightstar mewed, a growl hidden just beneath the surface. She knew she shouldn't be taunting her friend like that, but she had to be sure that Winterstar knew what she was doing. "I will help you deliver your message to Sorrowstar and Featherstar, but I am unsure if they will listen. Sorrowstar seems to have lost faith in StarClan, and Featherstar doesn't seem very cnovinced. I believe you, but I think that perhaps we should ask StarClan to send Sorrowstar her own sign." she said, tilting her head and looking up at the shining light of Silverpelt.

"I honestly feel stupid now" Winterstar laughed at herself shaking her head. The way she was acting at the moment, the way she was treating brightstar was like some sort of rogue. The she-cat turned towards the leader afraid she would answer no. When she heard her answer she was surprised. "Thank you brightstar and yes I guess I was implying the thought but I would rather keep my secrets secrets." Winterstar said curtly. The leader jumped onto the branch again and looked at he stars that were now dimming. "The herb that you seek is not the one you use but a liquid a Two-Leg has. To gain access to this cure you must follow the trail of voices leading to a strange Two-Leg den. There you must speak with a blue kitty-pet and she shall lead you to her house folk. Only then can you find the cure to this parasite attack." The she-cat spoke the prophecy very clear for the other leader. Then jumped off the branch again. "The only problem is what will happen to our clans when we are gone if we go as well" Winterstar added. Her paws firmly onto the ground the sun began to rise the sight of silver pelt only but a slight wash of twinkling ghosts.

Brightstar gripped the branch tightly in her claws. She lowered her ears in confusion, then hopped down to join her friend. "StarClan thinks that the answer to save our clan is with a kittypet?" she mewed quietly to herself. "We are warriors. We shouldn't need to rely on a silly Two-Leg plaything to save our Clans." Brightstar flicked her tail over Winterstar's ear playfully, trying to lighten the mood. "I will help," she said, then began washing her paw. (Sorry it's so short, I need to go)

Winterstar shook her head for a moment, as if she had not everything to worry about. " It may be a kittypet but remember the cat Firestar from the legendary main clans?" she tried to remind the other leader about the kittypet that had proven something more.

Brightstar nodded thoughtfully and quickly looked up to the sky, wondering if the great Firestar was looking down on the new warriors now for his nest in StarClan, for the current Clans were descended from a few cats of his time. Brightstar herself had been told a kit that blood from Sandstorm herself ran through her-- No. She shook the thought of her kithood away, trying not toremember her rogue past. "Yes, I should not have been so insensitive. I still believe we should go to the Mooncave/pool/stone (i forgot which XD) and try to listen to what StarClan has to say. After all this was your sign," Brightstar mewed cheerfully, gently batted her friend's tail like a young excited kit. "Come on, Winterstar," she called, springing to her paws and dashing over to the edge of the island then turing around to face her friend. She hoped that by making it seem like not a big deal she could calm down a little.
